Shipley Haberdashery & Crafts opened for business in 2014. We love sewing and crafts, which is why we opened up in the first place - it was a chance to build a beloved hobby into a business. Our staff are like one big family, friendly and full of tips and advice. No matter what you’re looking for, we’ll always do our best to find it for you. We’d love to meet you soon and get you on your way to creating beautiful masterpieces!

To add to your shopping experience we also retail essential oils, natural dried lavender, all this under one roof at the haberdashery.

In 2020 we expanded our business to include Knitting yarns and accessories stocking well known locally sourced knitting yarns and accessories in our newly extended shop.

Gutermann sew all 100m 250 m 500m . Gutermann 100% cotton 250m ideal for those patchwork quilting projects. We also stock DMC embroidery cross stitch threads, and a range of hand sewing extra strong ideal for keeping those buttons on.

DMC cotton embroidery, cross stitch and tapestry threads. We also have the DMC wool stand for anyone who needs to complete an old tapestry or maybe mend a jumper.

Here at the haberdashery we have a range of different storage solutions for your needle work or craft projects. Sewing boxes tins for those smaller items, pin cushions to keep all your needles and pins on. we also have small travel kits for the times when your away from home.
